We are an urban development and strategy firm, specializing in regeneration projects. Born in London in 1985, COMMON GROUND has been designing solutions to shape thriving, inclusive, and resilient cities for over three
decades. With our holistic and multidisciplinary approach, we have contributed to the transformation of streets, neighborhoods, and cities across four continents. Through collaboration with public institutions, local governments, and private partners, we enhanced the built environment and contributed to shaping a better future for people living in cities.

In this report, we present our proposal for the regeneration of Adif’s Abroñigal railway dry port in Madrid. As in all our consultancy work, we have approached the project through a holistic framework and multidisciplinary strategies. Our proposal is rooted in deep research, which helped us unleash the full potential of the district, creating a positive and long-term impact in the city.
